Deliberate

Commands

Use Deliberate through the /deliberate skill in a capable agent harness.

In the command forms below, <angle brackets> mark required input and [square brackets] mark optional input. For example, a case requires an idea, while a brief or readout can omit its period and use the default window.

CommandPurpose
/deliberate address/deliberate:deliberate address$deliberate addressdeliberate address/deliberate addressdeliberate address@deliberate addressWork through in-record review comments, update the artifact where warranted, and optionally resolve them.

/deliberate source list/deliberate:deliberate source list$deliberate source listdeliberate source list/deliberate source listdeliberate source list@deliberate source listList the project’s durable context sources from outside the current folder.

Run /deliberate help/deliberate:deliberate help$deliberate helpdeliberate help/deliberate helpdeliberate help@deliberate help for the live grammar installed with your version. Subcommands and argument details are rendered from that registry rather than duplicated in the harness.

Files inside the current project are automatic grounding, so source add rejects them rather than duplicating them in .sonorance/sources.md. Source curation favors systems and corpora with recurring signal, plus maintained canonical documents—not isolated feedback, individual cases/interviews, or point-in-time exports.

Rerunning /deliberate init/deliberate:deliberate init$deliberate initdeliberate init/deliberate initdeliberate init@deliberate init is the all-up context update path. It rereads current project files and configured sources, applies the latest context contracts, and refreshes product.md, competitors.md, and ecosystem.md together. Existing source entries remain hand-editable in .sonorance/sources.md.

Use /deliberate case <idea>/deliberate:deliberate case <idea>$deliberate case <idea>deliberate case <idea>/deliberate case <idea>deliberate case <idea>@deliberate case <idea> for any consequential idea or signal: product & experience, market & commercial, strategy & portfolio, or platform & ecosystem. The agent host chooses one durable primary lens and asks only when the decision is genuinely ambiguous.

Every case uses frame → shape → launch with methods suited to its lens. Prototypes are available for product and market cases; no prototype is forced for strategy or platform cases. Scores preserve evaluator provenance and are not directly rankable across different lenses.

Case creation returns an id. Every later case operation requires that full id or a unique prefix, so several cases can progress concurrently without a singleton active-case setting.

Brief and readout follow-through is classified as a product case, market case, strategy case, platform case, or direct action. Routine operations, instrumentation, already-decided work, and bounded research remain direct actions rather than cases.
